Dubai in 3 days

Start at the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood (Al Bastakiya) to explore restored wind-tower houses and the Dubai Museum at Al Fahidi Fort. Walk along Dubai Creek and take an abra (traditional boat) across to Deira for a quick souk visit.

Browse the Gold Souk and Spice Souk in Deira, then take the metro or taxi to the Dubai Frame in Zabeel Park for panoramic views and a photo op connecting old and new Dubai. Stop for lunch at Al Mallah or a local restaurant on Al Fahidi Street for Emirati or Levantine flavors.

Head to Dubai Marina for a waterfront stroll and board a dinner dhow cruise departing from Dubai Marina Mall or Marina Walk to enjoy illuminated skyline views. Alternatively have dinner at Pier 7 for a range of restaurants overlooking the marina.

Visit the Burj Khalifa — prebook tickets for At The Top (Levels 124/125 or 148) and arrive early to avoid crowds; then explore Dubai Mall attractions like the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. Walk outside to see the Dubai Fountain and surrounding promenade.

Take a taxi to Palm Jumeirah and visit the Atlantis, The Palm; consider the Lost Chambers Aquarium or have lunch at Nobu or Wavehouse. If interested in beaches, relax at the public Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk or book access to a hotel beach like Atlantis’s Aquaventure (day pass required).

Return to Downtown for sunset views and dinner at a restaurant with Burj Khalifa views such as Armani/Amal or one of the Terrace restaurants at The Dubai Mall. Finish with the Dubai Fountain show from the Souk Al Bahar promenade or a rooftop bar overlooking the tower.

Explore newer hotspots: visit La Mer beach for a relaxed seaside morning, stroll JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence) The Walk for cafés and shops, or visit the Museum of the Future (prebook tickets) for a futuristic exhibit. Grab brunch at The Beach or nearby Bluewaters Island and see Ain Dubai (observation wheel).

Return to hotel to rest, then prepare for a desert safari pickup in mid-afternoon. Most operators pick up from Dubai or neighboring emirates: choose a reputable company offering dune bashing, camel rides, and sandboarding.

Enjoy the desert camp experience with a BBQ dinner, live entertainment (belly dancing, tanoura), and stargazing before being returned to Dubai late evening. This provides a contrasting finale to the city-focused itinerary.
