A fantastic city with a vibrant arts scene. The cable car ride up to the Botanic Garden offered stunning views of the harbor. While I enjoyed the food, I found some of the restaurant prices a bit steep. Still, a great place to visit.
Wellington is a hidden gem! The Weta Workshop tour was a highlight for any Lord of the Rings fan, and the waterfront promenade is perfect for a leisurely stroll. The seafood was incredibly fresh – I highly recommend the mussels.
Such a cool, compact capital city! I loved wandering through the colorful streets of Cuba Street and sampling local craft beers. The Zealandia Ecosanctuary was an amazing experience, seeing native birds up close in their natural habitat. Wellington has a unique, laid-back vibe.
Wellington exceeded all expectations. The national museum, Te Papa, is truly exceptional, and the walk around Oriental Bay was so picturesque. I also enjoyed browsing the local markets for unique souvenirs. A truly memorable trip.
