Kaohsiung has a vibrant energy. The Pier-2 Art Center is a must-see, with its quirky installations. While the MRT was efficient, navigating some of the smaller streets took a bit of effort, but the overall experience was very positive.
What a wonderful city! The Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum is truly awe-inspiring, a place of incredible peace. I also really enjoyed wandering through the sprawling Ruifeng Night Market, sampling all sorts of local snacks.
Kaohsiung is a hidden gem! The British Consulate at Takow offers stunning harbor views and a glimpse into history. I also found the Love River cruise to be a romantic way to see the city lights.
