Guilin is a dream. The Reed Flute Cave was spectacular with its illuminated formations. We also loved biking through the countryside near Yangshuo, stopping at small villages. A truly unforgettable experience.
The landscape is truly beautiful, especially the views from Elephant Trunk Hill. It gets quite crowded, so go early if you can. The local food was also a highlight, particularly the beer fish.
